SHIVERCUP is a teacup that senses when your tea has gone cold, and shivers in response to the low temperature of the tea. Shivercup enhances the act of drinking tea by calling attention to the process. The user can still drink from the cup while it is shivering, however its visual and tactile reaction causes them to consider both the cup and the tea in a way they might never have done before. The Shiver Cup creates a dialogue with its users about heat and comfort, by altering the way they drink their tea.
